b.TWEEN is a unique cross media gathering... It is about knowledge sharing, being inspired, learning from peers and doing deals. It connects talent scouts from big companies and talented indies with big ideas.
Cooperate with Just-b, Kiosk (graphic), Raw Nerve, acmConsulting and Lisa Haskel, b.TWEEN website is built to deliver all sorts of relevant information for this event.
The main target of this project is to provide various channels for users to share information. My first mission was to create the RSS feed channel. Feeds are pulled in as users’ own collections and published into public discussion space. Apart from text-based content, multimedia content such as video and gallery can also be published easily. The user-contributed entries are grouped according to their types and filtered by most recent, most viewed, most appreciated and most commented.
The display of the user profiles is also a highlight of the project. Users are listed on different pages according to their roles. One special role is One2ones. Participants can require for a session with the One2ones people by sending out the session requests with their personal details and comments.
This project is a good exercise for Drupal theme system and template deploy. Modules used including: CCK, View, FeedAPI, Workflow-ng, Fivestar, User Karma, Ubercart, Bio, TinyMCE, IMCE, OpenID, Share...
