As a part-time freelancer for nearly 2 years, I find it rather difficult to spend some time working on my online portfolio. But it has come to the point that I had to concentrate on it last month (April 2008). Finally I got some pressure and motivation to finish my website which I started building in December 2007.
During the process of gathering my works and projects, I realised that it is actually a great way to review what I have done in the past 2 years. I also get to think about what I could have done better when writing the documentations for my code.
Anyway, hope you will find (some of) my works interesting and some of my codes helpful - enjoy! :-)
The idea is simple - I'd like to have tags and tabs in a 'book' to present my portfolio. The nature of a physical book has been taken into consideration when I designed the layout. You may (I hope you do) find these subtle effects such as the thickness of the book changes when browsing in different sections of the site, the overlapping effect of the tags when hovering and the shadows of the elements on the pages. However, the location of the tags is, in fact, opposite to where they should be…
