From Ground to Table is a locative media project of mine in 2006. It is the sequel of Farmer Brown's Journal.
In comparison with Farmer Brown's Journal which is based in Kent, From Ground to Table aims at the consumers in great London. Combines GPS technology, google map API and Drupal CMS, this project simply wishes to visualise the travel of the food, from the ground to the dinning tables.This project aims at raising the public concern of local produce, the meaning of food mile and the stories behind by presenting the whole journey of food.
